Just off Interstate 10, Quartzsite, Ariz. is known for its annual gem and mineral show. In the winter its population swells to well over 1 million people! They’re mostly snowbirds in their RVs.
In the off-season, it’s a crossroads with a few truck stops, dusty relics and kick-ass rock and gem shops.
We stopped in to Castor’s Antiques to see a real character I’ve gotten to know over the years. I call him “Crazy Bill.”
